Redwood Watch – Tangled Threads – Version 0.1 (Superpowers)

The guards are dead on the ground and the prison wall is in ruins as the Tainted Son escapes.
You are MC, a customizable male character who is currently at a low point in his life.
He is working a meaningless job and cannot afford to go to college, so his life lacks any meaning or direction.
After a long shift at work, MC takes a shortcut home and is attacked in an alley by random muggers.
He is mortally wounded, however, a power awakens inside him that allows him to defend himself before he loses consciousness.
As MC’s consciousness begins to fade, a band of Keepers intervenes and kills the muggers, saving his life.
Now MC is trapped in an underground world of fantasy where magic exists and loyalty does not.
MC must discover the magical powers within himself and learn the secrets of this new world to defend himself against the impending darkness and succeed in this new world.
