How to Installing, Running, and Uninstalling Adult Games on Android Devices
How to Install Adult Games on Android
The default setting of Android devices is to block third-party applications downloaded outside of the Android Playstore.
1. Allow Installation from Unknown Sources
- Open the Settings Menu on your Android device.
- Browse through the Applications (Sometimes called Applications & notifications) section in your Settings Menu.
- Scroll down in the Applications section and click on Special app access –> Install unknown apps (the path may differ on some devices. Instead of Special app access, you might see Security –> Install unknown apps).
- Find the application that you will be using to download or install the game (Chrome, Files, Browser, etc.) Click on that application option.
- Tap “Allow from this Source” to the On position.
Note: You can also temporarily allow the installation of an APK when you tap on it.
Download the Adult Game
A lot of Adult Games come as:
- A single .APK file (the file name will sometimes show as game.apk.zip, just rename it to .apk by removing the .zip).
- A ZIP file that contains both the APK file and the OBB or data folder.
You can download the game directly to your Device or transfer the game via USB to your Device.
If you are using PC versions of the games (Ren’Py, RPG Maker, Unity, etc.) you can download and install JoiPlay and the necessary plugins for Ren‘Py and RPG Maker games from the Google Play store or Patreon.
Install the Game
Find the APK file that you downloaded – either in your Downloads app or your Files app.
Click on the APK file to install it.
If you receive a prompt that says the app is not safe to install, click on “Install” or on “Settings” to enable app installation from unknown sources.
Wait until the installation is complete.
If the game comes with OBB/data files:
- Unzip the OBB file
- Copy the OBB folder into Android/obb/ within your device’s internal storage (you may create folders in case they do not already exist).
- The folder structure is Android/obb/com.[game developer]/[game data].obb (example: com.mousegames.action, data in the form of a file entitled ‘data.zip’)
Installing JoiPlay Games:
- Download JoiPlay and the necessary plug-ins
- Extract your game data
- Open JoiPlay and click on the + icon to add your game (.exe or .py) and run it from there
- After you open your game from your applications drawer, you are ready to play!
Troubleshooting Issues:
- Crashes – Clear the cache for the game (Settings -> Applications -> [Game] -> Storage -> Clear Cache) and also verify that you have downloaded all of the OBB files included with the game.
- Black Screen / Lagging – Lower the graphics settings of your game or use a game booster application.
- Not Installed – Make sure you have enough storage space, check that you are running a compatible version of Android for the app, and attempt to download the app from its original source again.
Playing the Game:
Playing most games is the same as playing a normal application.
You will usually have to d/certain permissions for most apps (ex: allowing the application to creation an external storage location, etc.).
If the game has built-in patches or mods, you install them the same way you would the base app (an additional APK file or additional files in the game’s original folder).
To obtain the best performance possible while playing games, you should try to close all apps running in the background, keep your device’s temperature at a minimum and hopefully get an update to the latest version of Android.
Complete Deletion of the Game from The Device
Easy method to delete the game:
Press and hold on the icon for the game in either the app drawer or home screen to delete it.
Select Uninstall and confirm to delete the data associated with it.
Delete the application through settings (this method is recommended…):
Go to settings, then Apps, locate the application you want to delete.
Select the application and press uninstall and confirm to continue.
If you are able to do so, clear both the cache and stored data from the application by selecting storage & cache.
Delete any leftover files associated with the application (recommended):
Open the Files application on your device.
In Internal storage navigate to Android/data and delete the application’s folder (usually named com.developerName.applicationName).
In the same location, navigate to Android/obb and delete any folder associated with the application.
Check your download directory for any APK or ZIP files that were saved at the time of downloading the application.
Additional Information
- Storage Management: Gaming can take up significant amounts of space (many hundreds of megabytes to gigabytes). You should frequently check settings and storage.
- Updates: To update your game when a new version is released, simply install the APK file over the old one.
- Multiple Games: It is recommended to install one game at a time to avoid compatibility errors.
