The game takes place in the year 8643.
You play as Captain Linessa Star, Commander of the Repopulation Colony: Deep Six Nine.
In a distant sector of space controlled by the Federation, humanity and dozens of other species fight for survival. To prevent the extinction of endangered races, the Federation created the Repopulation Program — a network of specially designed colonies where the most advanced genetic technology, known as Federal DNA Genetics, is used.
This technology allows representatives of different species to engage in sexual relations and successfully produce offspring by precisely editing and combining their genetic material.
As the captain of Deep Six Nine, your primary mission is to explore the galaxy, form deep relationships with various alien species (xenos), and recruit them to the colony. By becoming parents of the next generation, they will help rebuild and expand the population of the station.
The story begins after a mysterious year-long diplomatic mission. Captain Linessa Star has just returned home… with her entire memory completely erased. While she was gone, the colony fell into decline and chaos. Now Linessa must rediscover who she is, restore the colony to its former glory, explore uncharted worlds, recruit powerful and exotic allies, and uncover the truth behind what really happened during her lost year — and why someone wanted her to forget everything.
