Top 10 Adult Game Devs on Patreon (2026 Edition)

agbox Apr 3, 2026

Hello again gamers! You guys are always looking for a new build on patreon and you wonder if you are just contributing to the developer’s coffee consumption or actually contributing to them creating new content. I myself have been playing adult games for years subbing/paying for games, finding gems, and raging at developers for slow updates.
This time I’m building out a list of the developers mainly to show when they started developing, how many games they made, their biggest successes, the speed or slowness of updates, their work ethic and the real pros/cons to be a player that has been there and done that with absolutely no sugar-coating. The rankings are in no particular order and are based off of the developer’s current popularity along with my experience, plus I included links to their patreon page to make it easier for you to check out the games yourself.

1. DarkCookie (Summertime Saga)

DarkCookie (Summertime Saga)
He started working on the project in 2017 As a Self-Made Developer.
Number of Patreon subscribers at the time of writing: 34,549 members
Created One Major Project- Summertime Saga, Up To Now It Remains DarkCookie’s Only Large Production, But Has Grown Into More Than Just A Single Game. He Has Completed Several Parts of The Main Story and Created A Huge Amount Of Secondary Content Beneath Those Main Story Components. The Ultimate Summer-City Dating Sim (With So Many Female Characters and So Much Content).

Patreon: DarkCookie on Patreon

Advantages:
The man started with nothing and has built a monster game (on his own) and has a team of 5-6 people now to support him. He’s good about communicating with fans and runs polls for what the fans want. He has been working on the game for 9 almost years now. There are updates made every two months (basically) with new updates in scenes and game engine. He has a loyal following to the fans.

Disadvantages:
When the project first started, the pace was very slow due to the fact that he was the only one working on it (as a developer/development work). The major overhaul to the game engine took a long time and he had a long period of no updates (or communication from him) due to this. Even with the addition of a small team, some fans feel he could be updating faster for the amount of money he makes from this. He is definitely the number 1 example of someone who is committed to a long-term project.

2. TURBODRIVER (WickedWhims)

TURBODRIVER (WickedWhims)
Started: Around 2016-2017 with Sims 4 mods.
Number of Patreon subscribers at the time of writing: 19,129 members
Games Created: TURBODRIVER primarily creates one complex mod (WickedWhims), but also has several smaller supporting mods. This developer’s most popular mod is WickedWhims, which transformed The Sims 4 into one large sandbox-style game for adults.

Patreon: TURBODRIVER on Patreon

Advantages:
This developer’s strengths include: he works on his mod daily, is an extremely dedicated developer, has provided consistent support and development for the past 10 years, continues to ensure compatibility with current EA changes, and is very responsive to user feedback. He frequently adds new features and animations to the mod, is very reliable, and has one of the best reputations among game developers in the general modding/gaming community.

Disadvantages:
The downsides to this developer/mod are that it is only a mod, so if you don’t play The Sims 4 then nothing here will work for you, this mod may have issues with other major mods or with EA updates that can take a long time to fix, and if that’s the reason for your negative experience then this isn’t the best example of your game as there are virtually no other mods outside of The Sims universe.

3. Project Helius (Operation Lovecraft: Fallen Doll)

Project Helius (Operation Lovecraft: Fallen Doll)
Started: Around 2016 (original Fallen Doll), Patreon since ~2017-2018.
Number of Patreon subscribers at the time of writing: 18,335 members
Games made: Fallen Doll (original) → rebuilt as Operation Lovecraft: Fallen Doll (basically a full reboot).

Operation Lovecraft: Fallen Doll is a high-quality 3D harem simulator that combines elements of Lovecraftian horror with stunning physics.

Patreon: Project Helius on Patreon

Advantages:
The team has been developing both AAA and indie games for many years; this is evidenced by the graphics, animation, and physics. They are quick to respond to user requests and are willing to rework/rebuild the entire backend infrastructure as needed. The game is very VR-focused and has a massive scale.

Disadvantages:
The game’s development process was slow due to multiple updates and rebuilding from scratch. There have been long periods without updates or playable content—many players refer to the project as a “virtual product,” or at least something very close to that term, due to constant delays in delivering promised content. This project has been surrounded by inflated expectations, but the delivery of anything of quality has proven quite disappointing.

4. Meshed VR (Virt-A-Mate)

Meshed VR (Virt-A-Mate)
Inception: Virt-A-Mate was first released around 2017-2018.
Number of Patreon subscribers at the time of writing: 16,166 members
Games Created: One main product – Virt-A-Mate (VaM), currently working on VaM2.
Biggest Hits: Virt-A-Mate – the king of adult VR sandboxes.
Patreon: Meshed VR on Patreon

Patreon: Meshed VR on Patreon

Advantages:
Meshed VR has been credited with creating realistic physics, as well as providing many options for customization when creating adult VR experiences. He also has created a strong following from community members, and has thousands of different scenes created by users. Even though the original version of VaM is now becoming community driven, he is continually updating it to create a better base. He has also been very open about his visions for the project’s future.

Disadvantages:
VaM2 has been under development for a very long time, with many long periods of time between updates and/or progress reports. I would say that VaM is a very large, complex project, so it seems that updates tend to take longer to come out than do those from smaller developers. A user must have an appropriate computer and/or VR gear in order for VaM to function to its full potential.

5. DrPinkCake (Being a DIK + Acting Lessons)

DrPinkCake (Being a DIK + Acting Lessons)
Start: First game (Acting Lessons) around 2018-2019, then Being a DIK in 2019-2020.
Number of Patreon subscribers at the time of writing: 12,257 members
Games created: Two main projects – Acting Lessons (completed) and Being a DIK (ongoing, several seasons).
Biggest hits: Being a DIK – a visual novel about a college fraternity with top-notch writing and rendering.

Patreon: DrPinkCake on Patreon

Advantages:
Works on his games full-time and posts weekly status updates (very transparent). High-quality product – beautiful rendering, good humor, and a truly compelling story. Upgrading hardware to speed up rendering. One of the most professional solo/small team developers in the Adult Games space.

Disadvantages:
Episodes take a long time. Long breaks between major updates can kill excitement. It makes it abundantly clear that rendering is the bottleneck, but some fans still lose patience.

6. NLT (Treasure of Nadia, The Genesis Order, Symphony of the Serpent)

NLT (Treasure of Nadia, The Genesis Order, Symphony of the Serpent)
Started: Early 2020s
Number of Patreon subscribers at the time of writing: 9,131 members
Games Created: Several completed or nearly completed projects (Treasure of Nadia, The Genesis Order, and now Symphony of the Serpent).
Biggest Hits: Treasure of Nadia and The Genesis Order – classic treasure-hunting visual novels.

Patreon: NLT on Patreon

Advantages:
They complete a game and begin a new game rather than prolonging a single project indefinitely. They frequently release quality rendered games with a defined schedule, have a diverse selection of games to choose from, and generally keep their promises to their customers.

Disadvantages:
Game play can feel similar (all games generally have some sort of tropical/island theme). Quality of writing and animations are not as innovative or finished as AAA games. Due to the small team, there may be delays in fixing bugs or releasing patches.

7. DotArt (Hole House)

DotArt (Hole House)
Started: Around 2021-2022.
Number of Patreon subscribers at the time of writing: 12,712 members
DotArt is an independent developer of adult games and creator of the popular sandbox project Hole House.

From the very beginning of his game development career, DotArt decided not to waste time on boring things and immediately dove into what truly inspires him: creating a bright, bold, and very “grown-up” world where you own an old house with a rich history… and even richer potential. Thus was born Hole House—an open-ended sandbox where you can collect, dress (or undress), persuade, and enjoy a wide variety of women, each with their own charisma, personality, and sultry scene set.

Patreon: DotArt on Patreon

Advantages:
Two updates per month, constantly adding new characters, scenes, animations, clothing, and mechanics—all thanks to direct communication with the community. Patrons actively vote for future heroines, new features, and future directions for the game.

Disadvantages:
There is a paid content subscription. Leveling up can be boring, and if you’re looking for a meaningful storyline, there’s not much of that. The web version can be intermittent at times.

8. Adeptus Steve (Wild Life)

Adeptus Steve (Wild Life)
Started: Patreon since 2016.
Number of Patreon subscribers at the time of writing: 8,787 members.
Adeptus Steve is the founder and lead creator of the adult RPG Wild Life (along with Candy Valley Network).
Adeptus Steve has produced just one major title overall, the open world science-fiction role-playing game, Wild Life – with extra sandboxing capabilities. Wild Life is due to be released by the end of 2026; Patreon members can access Steam demos and new builds/designs/updates will get released monthly. Presently, Adeptus Steve does not have any finished works besides Wild Life because he’s devoted ten years developing this major project.

Patreon: Adeptus Steve on Patreon

Advantages:
Exceptional quality graphics and animation (with the sex scenes standing out with more than 1,500 unique animated sequences), anatomy-based physics, and very good level of detail (most people believe this game has one of the greatest “cum shot” graphics ever made in this genre).

Outstanding game sandbox and tools to create, customize, import objects, and pose characters when creating scenes.

The open world is gorgeous. Sex is a feature of the way you play the game (open world, very detailed, very large; you can survive, fight, play through a story, have sex and do what you want in the world).

Often, development progress updates, builds once in 6-8 weeks, and a direct line with the fan base.

Disadvantages:
The game took nearly 10 years to make, so it took a very long time to develop. Critics joked about “Forever Kickstarter Development”and “Eternal Early Access” labels.

The ambitious development hurt the project in some ways. While it was supposed to be a large open-world RPG, it was mostly a complex sandbox for posing. Only some of the planned story and combat elements were completed.
Because the game took so long to develop, some fans have become impatient and have accused the developers of introducing too much “scope creep” (i.e., having too many things to add to a single project).

9. CyanCapsule (My Pig Princess)

CyanCapsule (My Pig Princess)
Founded: Recent years (approximately 2023-2024).
Number of Patreon subscribers at the time of writing: 9,617 members
Games created: Mainly focused on My Pig Princess and similar games.
Best games: My Pig Princess is a cute and very addictive game.

Patreon: CyanCapsule on Patreon

Advantages:
Original and very specific fetishes. High-quality 2D graphics. Rapid growth because they know their audience.

Disadvantages:
Very niche theme – if you don’t like pig girls, there’s nothing here for you. A small scale and team means less overall content.

10. Incontinent Cell (My Dystopian Robot Girlfriend)

Incontinent Cell (My Dystopian Robot Girlfriend)
Started: 2024-2025.
Number of Patreon subscribers at the time of writing: 30,600 members
Games made: Mainly My Dystopian Robot Girlfriend.
Best game: My Dystopian Robot Girlfriend — post-apoc robot waifu game.

Patreon: Incontinent Cell on Patreon

Advantages:
a New idea to the gaming industry (not copying) and rapid growth in Community. Positive start to the game (momentum).

Disadvantages:
It’s too new to have a sense of how long between updates — whether dev will continue support or burn out.

That’s the end bros — about the devs putting out smut, not the games themselves; some of them are long-time grinders and others are new stars with creative concepts without proven endurance. Support Devs who communicate and provide a quality product @ Patreon’s (this is their primary source of income).
